What’s the major difference between this and the 6100?
The Major difference is that the 6100 was released near around August 2010 whereas the 5500 was released near around December 2015. Shave time of 30 minutes vs 40 minutes, ergonomic grip, 2 power indicator vs 3 power indicator, new turbo mode, etc. The big benefit of the 6100 is that it’s cheap and the blade replacement are cheaper also.
Mine started making “clunking” sound and not cutting well?
I have had my razor for long time. Have no problems. If it’s not cutting like it use to. You can put more blades or what ever they are called. Just make sure if you take the head off. You put it back on perfectly.
So wet means this can be used in the shower?
Yes wet means, this can be used in any wet condition, including a shave under the shower, though I personally prefer to use it dry when I can see all my stubble. Related to Norelco 5800 electric shaver.
